Successful Defense in the Age of the Whistleblower

Business litigators can play a critical role in helping companies deal with whistleblower issues. At the outset, they can assist in developing strong compliance policies and procedures to minimize the occurrence of claims and to increase the chances that any complaints will be dealt with internally. Even the best pol icies, however, will not eliminate whistleblow er cases, so counsel will also need to develop effective strategies to defend them.
